Robin Lynne Harikul (née Calvelli), age 70, passed peacefully with loved ones at her side on September 8, 2025. A longtime resident of Southern California, she made her home in Moorpark (a newly-expanding community in the 1980s) for nearly 15 years as she raised her family.

Born in Stockton, California to Fred and Lynne Calvelli, Robin grew up in Palo Alto. She graduated from Awalt High School and attended Foothill College before moving south to become among the first graduates of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona's Geological Sciences program. After earning her B.S. in Geology in 1978, she married Terry Harikul, with whom she shared more than 20 years of marriage. Her love of California's natural beauty took the family on regular trips to its desert and mountain landscapes.

Robin was deeply rooted in her faith, which gave her purpose, connection, and comfort throughout every stage of her life. She had an extraordinary gift for service and hospitality, supporting local and global needs and building lifelong friendships through the churches she attended.

She extended that same care into her role as a caregiver, where she made people feel seen, valued, and loved—whether family, longtime friends, or professional clients who soon came to think of her as family.

Robin is survived by her three children, Vanessa Harikul, Ryan Harikul (Connie), and Tabitha Harikul; her granddaughter, Eve; and her brothers, Fred Calvelli (Linda) and Randy Calvelli (Cathy). She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lynne Calvelli, and her sister, Lisa Calvelli.

A celebration of Robin's life will be held on November 8 at Calvary Chapel Golden Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Caregiver Action Network.
